THE GRAND CANYON

The grand canyon..... Big hole in the ground.Massive, hot, rocky land.
Today we went to the south rim of the canyon and down into the canyon via the hiking trail called the bright angel trail. It was fantastic, very hot though.
The canyon is 278 miles from east to west and around a mile deep. We woke up early to go lucky it is so hot here in the arizona desert by 10 am. So we went at 730 and came back to the villiage around 1130am. We are going to see the sunset later tonight looking forward to that. robw
